In a study called Efficacy and Safety of Curcumin in Major Depressive Disorder, researchers divided subjects with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) into three groups. The combo group performed the best in tests of mood and other symptoms after six weeks. The other two scored roughly the same, with the Prozac group doing just a couple percentage points better. Turmeric in milk slows milk from spoiling and reduces fungal growth in bread.
