Reclaim Your Inner Peace And Focus With Meditation and Mantras.

Christmas is upon us and New Year celebrations are right around the corner. With all the baking, wrapping, cleaning and entertaining obligations- your stress levels might be at an all-time high.

It’s easy to dismiss the idea of meditation, thinking “I just don’t have time,” but the truth is- in the time it takes to check your email or seal some envelopes, you could sneak away for just 10 minutes and reap some of the benefits.

A combination of meditation and reciting mantras will surely help you focus, bring you back into the moment and help you tap back into the holiday spirit.

Mantras are a group of words that have spiritual power- they have the ability to motivate, inspire, heal and calm you. They are a simple yet powerful way to invite positivity into your daily routine.  Here are a few mantras to help you overcome stress. Choose the one or try a couple that resonate with you most and recite them daily.

  • I celebrate abundance, and I’m open to receive all the love, joy, and nourishment of the holidays.
  • I will breathe, I will think of solutions, I will not let anxiety control me.
  • I am prosperous and I give wisely with a generous heart.
  • I open my heart and accept others as they are.
  • I have enough. Less is more. Be here now. I have everything I need.
  • I choose calm over anxiety.
  • I will not stress myself out over things I cannot control.
  • I make time to nourish my mind, body and spirit.
  • You are enough. You have enough. You do enough.

Adding in 10-minutes of meditation daily, or when you’re feeling stressed and scattered, could help you in the following areas:

  • Increase your energy- meditation elevates your mood and energizes your spirit.
  • Helps you manage anger & frustration- meditation helps you refocus on what matters, allowing you to dismiss the little things that stir up anger.
  • Improves focus- meditations limits thoughts and keeps you on task, helping you to rid your mind of distracting clutter.
  • Keeps chronic conditions at bay- the holidays can take a toll on our health and wellness. Meditation can ease migraines, improve our sleep, reduce panic attacks and decrease high-blood pressure.
  • Tames anxiety- meditation forces you to slow down and focus on your breath which helps relieve anxiety.

At the end of the year, we want you to look back and smile at what you’ve accomplished and enjoyed, rather than feel inadequate or deflated. Taking a little time out of your day to be present in the moment is the best “present” you could give yourself. Happy Holidays from Nambu Botanicals!
